Are you insightful?
Do you like working with people and having fun?
If you have the heart, the enthusiasm, and the passion to be of service then holistic coaching is a great area to consider. First things first though, you have to work with the right team…
Why Become A Holistic Coach?
Have you ever had that feel good “tingling” when you know you’re on the right track? It could be because you’ve helped someone, or that someone has really connected to and appreciated your help. That’s the feeling working as a holistic coach can bring every day…. it can be so rewarding both in a financial and emotional sense. Helping someone grow, develop and succeed in life is a triumph.
As a holistic coach you become a part of your client’s life; you help them reach their goals and achieve success.
Aside from that, if you are an excellent life coach you can earn as much as $10,000.00 a month (or more).
Being a great coach means a steady stream of clients, and this equals a steady flow of income.
Holistic coaching may sound easy, but it is not for everybody. Remember you will be bearing the burdens of your clients and walking alongside them, especially when the path gets a bit rocky. You need a certain gift of wanting to help for you to be able to bear the life of another individual and truly make a difference in their life. Being a great coach entails huge responsibilities, so you have to possess certain qualities that are indispensable.
The most essential quality a life coach must have, is the ability to listen and empathize. Sympathizing is feeling for the client, empathizing is putting yourself in their shoes. By empathizing you are able to visualize their life and reflect it back so they see what’s going on for themselves, similar to looking into the mirror. The key to being a successful holistic coach is being able to listen without planning the rebuttal in your head.
Successful coaches control the urge to give advice. They do not tell the client what to do… rather they help them internalize and realize their potential, wants, desires, and goals and then assist them to develop a step by step plan to achieve the results they are seeking.
But most of all a holistic coach must be driven by the desire to help. You have to be able to recognize and identify your clients’ needs and encourage them through many different levels of problem solving. As a holistic coach you will need to be committed to your own continuous improvement and learning program. From this commitment arises the need to learn from the best of the best. Seek out the best education and training you can find…and be sure to associate with other successful and like-minded people.
